I lost my checklist progress. Can it be recovered?
Checklist progress is stored locally on your device only. It is not backed up to iCloud or any server. If you uninstalled the app, switched devices, or restored from a backup that didn't include app data, the previous progress can't be recovered. Reinstalling the app starts fresh.
Does the app sync between my iPhone and iPad?
Not currently. Each device tracks its own progress independently. Cross-device sync isn't on the near-term roadmap because the app is designed to be fully offline and account-free.
Can I use the app if I'm not at Cal Poly Pomona?
Yes. The content is broadly applicable to any engineering or STEM student preparing for internships and full-time roles. The branding reflects the source material's origin, but the checklists themselves are general.
Where do the checklist items come from?
Each checklist mirrors a printed handout from the Dean's Leadership Board EngX Seminar Series. The original PDFs are bundled in the app and viewable from the Settings & About tab.
How do I reset a checklist?
Open the Settings & About tab, scroll to "Reset Checklists," and tap the checklist you want to clear. This clears only the checked-item state — the content itself is unchanged.
Is the app available on Android?
Yes. The Android version is on Google Play with the same content and feature set.
Does the app collect any personal information?
No. The app stores all data locally on your device and does not transmit anything off-device. See the Privacy Policy for details.
